British crime thriller eyes spring shoot
A new British crime thriller is in the pipeline with filming currently anticipated to be up and running in the spring.
The feature, From Here to Albion, is from writing pair Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani, and centres on a coastal English town where a chain of violence is triggered by a tragic accident.
The LA-based writing duo met in a screenwriting class in their first year at Columbia University and From Here to Albion marks their first feature to move towards production.
We will bring you updates on PI as more names board the project and dates are locked down.
So far we can only say that Participant Media in LA is working with Potboiler on this project – and details on the renowned TV director and the producer on board are on Production Intelligence.
Potboiler is also working on Final Portrait, to be directed by actor Stanley Tucci and starring Geoffrey Rush and Armie Hammer. Full details on PI for this include production designer, casting director and line producer.
Make sure you’re following it as shoot date confirmation is expected in January.
