It's UK and Malta for Assassin's Creed
The long-awaited big screen adaptation of historical fiction video game Assassin's Creed is now well into pre-production in the UK, with Malta also set to host a slice of the shoot.
There has been plenty of buzz surrounding the project, with recent speculation that actor du jour Alicia Vikander is set to board the project, which already has Fassbender's Macbeth co-star Marion Cotillard attached.
The film also reunites Fassbender and Cotillard with their Macbeth director, Justin Kurzel, calling the shots from a screenplay by Adam Cooper, Bill Collage and Michael Lesslie.
Fassbender is among the many producers on the film, which comes from Regency Enterprises.
