The Carer gears up for south east shoot
A new feature film starring Emilia Fox and Brian Cox is gearing up to shoot towards the end of this month in the Kent area.
The Carer also features Hungarian/Austrian actress Coco Koenig as an immigrant carer who develops an unlikely relationship with her charge, stage and screen star Sir Michael Gifford (played by Cox).
Hungarian director Janos Edelenyi directs from a screenplay by the late Gilbert Adair and Tom Kinninmont. For the UK side of this international co-production, Charlotte Wontner produces for Hopscotch Films along with Steve Bowden of Vita Nova Films.
Also producing is Jozsef Berger of Mythberg Films in Hungary and Kai Künnemann of Germany's A-Company.
The drama is set to film in the Maidstone area of Kent using locations in Boughton Monchelsea and Sutton Valence.
