Search Options

Use the Quick Search on the left hand side to locate categories, companies, crew and technicians. Alternatively refine your search by using the Filtered Search, here you will be able to search by Company / Crew name, Location, Credits or Category separately or, combined to offer a filtered search.

'Quick Search' search tips

Use the Quick Search to search by:-
Company or Crew name or Classifications containing...
Simply type the text you wish to search for in the text box and away you go! The categories returned will also show any related categories that contain what has been entered for the search.

General
If the name of the company or crew begins 'Mc...' and you don't seem to be able to find it try using 'Mac...' instead.

Crew
When searching for crew, type either the first name and/or the surname e.g. David Brown

'Filtered Search' search tips

The Filtered Search can be used to look for:

• Company Crew –
  
  • If Crew is ticked and company is not then the search will look for only crew members where the crew name contains what you have entered.
  • If Company is ticked and Crew is not then the search will look for only companies where the company name contains what you have entered
  • If Company and Crew are both ticked (or unticked) then the search will look for companies and crew where the company name or the crew name contains what you have entered.
• Location / Postcode – it will look for a town or a postcode or a country which contains what you have entered.
• Credits - it looks for companies and people which have credits containing what you have entered
• Categories - it will show you a list of the categories by alphabet from where you can search and then choose which category you would like to search. Clicking on the alphabetical letters shown at the top of the screen will show you a list of categories that begin with the letter chosen. Entering two or more characters in the search box will automatically update the list with categories that contain what you have entered or, has been deemed as related to the category for which you are searching. Please note, entering one character in the search box will have no effect as the search requires at least two letters are required to enable a search to take place.

The more details you enter in the above search the more tailored your search will be. That is, if you enter the location 'London' and the credits 'Gladiator' then you will only be shown results where the company / crew have a London location and where the credits are 'Gladiator'.
