Caroline Pope is a London based choreographer and movement director working in film, television, theatre and opera with actors, singers and dancers.
Recent work includes: the films ‘Swimming With Men’ with Rob Brydon and ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ in which Caroline coached Margot Robbie and Domhnall Gleeson and cast on the choreography and period physicality,
the Jigsaw commercial now nominated for an Arrow Craft Award for director Roland Kennedy, the ‘Audrey Hepburn’ Galaxy advert that keeps popping up for director Daniel Kleinman, a four screen installation film ‘The Corridor’ for director Toby Dye for the ‘Daydreaming with Stanley Kubrick’ show at Somerset House.
On our TV screens recently; for Masterpiece/ITV series 2, 3 and 4 of ‘Mr Selfridge’, for Kudos/ITV the ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ series, for Working Title/Sky the comedy series ‘You, Me and the Apocalypse’, for BBC ‘Love Nina’ and the finale dance with Stellan Skarsgard and Nicola Walker for the detective series ‘River’.
Earlier work includes the films ‘Hot Fuzz’ and ‘Wuthering Heights’ and the Oscar nominated short film ‘Syrup’. For theatre, ‘The Night Season’ at The National Theatre, ‘King Lear’ for Theatre Royal Bath and the multi awarded Tony and BAFTA shows ‘Medea’ and ‘The Dolls’ House’ in the West End and on Broadway. Numerous operas at The Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the English National Opera, Opera North and the Aldeburgh and Buxton Festivals.
She has coached David Bowie, Juliette Binoche, Charlotte Gainsburg, Talulah Riley, Margot Robbie, Rachel Weisz, Domhnall Gleeson, Ioan Grufford, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Tom Wilkinson and Ant and Dec amongst many others.
Caroline is experienced in a wide range of styles from period to experimental.
