2017 Testimonials

Testimonials

Euros Lyn – Director (Broadchurch, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Daredevil, Black Mirror)

I had the pleasure of working with Aerial Craft on a BBC Films/ BFI/ FfCW/ S4C/ Soda Pictures feature film entitled Y Llyfrgell (The Library Suicides). The brief was to shoot two key elements – one shot sweeping over across the sea towards the promenade and town and another shot that opens on an intimate close-up of a character who we find lying on granite steps pulling out into an epic vista of a grand classical library building. Both shots were efficiently and elegantly executed; had great stability despite the wind picking up and add invaluable grandeur, scale and drama to the film.  Christian and Henry were a pleasure to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

John Giwa-Amu – Producer at Red and Black Films (Don’t Knock Twice, The Machine, Little White Lies)

Red and Black Films had a great experience working with Christian and the team on our supernatural thriller, Don’t Knock Twice. Without doubt, even our most elegant locations were further enhanced by their stunning aerial cinematography”

Steve Lawes – DOP (Aberfan: The Green Hollow, Silent Witness, Banished, Sherlock, Strike Back)

I’ve worked with Christian and Henry several times and they are professional and exceptionally talented at what they do. My first choice for drone work.

Matthew Evans – Director (Casualty, Lewis, Holby City, New Tricks)

Efficient, fast and understanding of what I needed to shoot.  I got exactly what I wanted… and some nice extras too

Cheryl Keatley – Line Producer (Say My Name, Ellen, The Library Suicides, Being Human)

Great Aerial shots of the Balmoral Ship from Penarth Pier for the closing scene of the Feature Say My Name. Great flying as always.

Steve Hughes – Director (Casualty, Wolfblood, Midsomer Murders, Doctor Who)

I had the pleasure of working with Aerial Craft on the Casualty 30th Anniversary Special. Aerial photography played a huge part in the storytelling of this episode and I was very impressed with Christian and Henry’s work. Not only did they create beautiful, cinematic shots but they also understood their place in the story. I’d work with them again in a heartbeat and would recommend them highly.

'Aberfan: The Green Hollow' BAFTA Nominated

One of our favourite shots that we achieved last year with Alexa MINI involved coordinating a playground of spinning children as the camera corkscrewed above them. TGH was nominated for Best Single Drama at BAFTA TV 2017, read the review below.
