1. I'd like to add a production, how do I do that?

If you require production services for a film, TV show, commercial or corporate video it's easy to add a production and get applications for a variety of roles. In fact, you can create a role for every category on The Knowledge Online. Just log-in to your account, click on 'My Productions' in the left-hand menu and then on the 'Add a new production' button. From here you simply add the details of your production, add the roles you require filled and finally 'commit' your production. Once you commit a production Knowledge Base sends an email to all relevant categories inviting users to apply for the roles you have listed.

2. OK I've signed up! How do I add or edit my Knowledge Base profile?

Again, that's quite simple. Just click on 'My Knowledge' in the left-hand menu, then 'Edit my Knowledge Base CV'. Here your contact information is automatically displayed. You can upload a photograph or company logo, five recent credits and also have the opportunity to add additional information about your skills, industry experience or other information that will help you get the job.

3. How do I apply for a job?

Once you've subscribed to Knowledge Base and you've found a job would like to apply for via the Jobs Board, you can apply easily by clicking on 'Respond'. Your Knowledge Base profile is automatically attached to every application but you also have an opportunity to add a covering note. Click on 'Respond to Role' and your profile is sent to the production poster.

4. I've just received an email about a role but I'm not a subscriber to Knowledge Base – can I still apply?

You do need to be a subscriber to apply for jobs posted through Knowledge Base.

5. I've just received an email about a role – how do I unsubscribe from these emails?

We've set-up Knowledge Base so that emails are only sent if they are relevant to our users. However if at any point you wish to unsubscribe from emails alerting you to new jobs then simply log in to The Knowledge Online, select 'Manage Email' from the left-hand menu and click on the button labeled 'Un-subscribe me'. If at any point you wish to receive emails again you can return to this page and click on the 'Subscribe' button.
